Maintenance Industrial Center in France


The final decision of the evaluators of the SENA and ENIM (Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Metz), on the 24 trainees who will go to France as part of the privileged to participate in the internship ENIM nationally, resulted in a 5 elected from the Regional Santander, including two apprentices of SENA Pigs.

To achieve this important goal and Ricardo Andrés Pabón Castro Durán Sepúlveda Andrés Sotero, apprentices Manufacturing of Products Machining and Automation Design and Integration of Mechatronic respectively, each presented a PLM integration project (Managing Product Life Cycle) to a productive project.

APPROACH TO A HISTORY OF SENA PROGRESS

On October 3, 1968 “date chosen by the SENA and the British Embassy,” was born Pilot Casting Center, now known as Comprehensive Maintenance Industrial Center. That was 40 years ago.
It’s funny, but this is not easy to find any record, there is hardly a mention in the record 270 of June 10, 1970, SENA Sectional Council, which warns that were present at the ceremony was Minister of Overseas England and Colombian government officials.

Where do I find information About Automation?


One of the biggest advances in the field of automation in recent years was the change in the form of access to technical information. Until recently it was common to have large printed manuals for each computer that you wanted to handle. Imagine that a company typically handles three or four different brands of suppliers and within each brand a huge variety of products. This literally meant having a library in the workshop.

Then switched to digital format, taking one to purchase the manuals on CD for each team, or annual collections (eg. The Collection Manual Siemens). This was a breakthrough, saves space and most importantly allows you to search keywords in the text.
We currently have a myriad of technical information on the web, updated and available at any time. Not only manuals, we also find current news on certain products, specifications, firmware updates, and example programs. This great tool can become knowledge for those who are being initiated in a maze with no exit. Those who want to learn how to program a PLC running into an advanced manual can be daunting.

Automating with LOGO!


LOGO! is a mini SIEMENS PLC designed for simple automation tasks. It is usually seen in control lights for stairs, irrigation control or automatic gates. While these tasks seem simple mini PLC that allows to add analog inputs and a communications module.

The S7-200 PLC is the low end of the line SIMATIC. Still this team is usually seen in machines of all kinds, from simple sequences of contacts for control of lights, to large positioning control machines and input / output high response. A PLC which allows communications of all kinds: MODBUS Master / Slave, GSM communication to send and receive SMS, PROFIBUS DP (slave only), AS-Interface, Ethernet with web server / mail server / FTP, and how to Freeport create our own protocols or adapt it to non-standard protocols such as for receiving data from a barcode reader.

Some Benefits of Diesel Engines

If you’ve owned a diesel powered vehicle in the
past or if you own one now, you no doubt appreciate
the qualities this engine provides you with.  More
torque, better fuel economy, and easier maintenance
are but a few of the attributes of owning diesel
powered vehicles.
However, there are some motorists that still
complain about the engine’s weak power, especially
when accelerating from a full stop.  What you
may not be aware of is the fact that a diesel
engine can be tweaked to give more power without
harming the fuel economy.
Diesel engines use air compression to create
combustion versus the fuel/air mixture that is
required by gas engines.  This attribute means
that diesel engines don’t require spark plugs
and therefore don’t need to be tuned up.
Diesel fuel has a much high fuel density than
gas, which results in fuel economy increases
of 20 – 30% over gasoline powered vehicles.
Diesel engines are also cheaper to maintain as
they have less parts than that of a gasoline
powered engine.  The life span of a diesel
engine is also much longer.
If you’re looking for torque, for pulling a
boat or other equipment, then the diesel
engine has the supreme advantage.  Diesel
engines are surely slower, especially when
starting from a dead stop, although when you
climb hills or go over bridges, the diesel
engine is surely up to the task.
With trucks, diesel is normally the leader
over gas engines in terms of performance and
miles per gallon.  Diesel trucks will get
more miles than gas trucks, and the price for
diesel is a bit cheaper than gas these days.
And with gas prices on the rise, diesel will
continue to dominate for a long time to come.

Time for the greats of the SIMATIC family. The S7-300 and S7-400. These PLC are scheduled from a single interface with the same language and same procedures.

These families are integrated into the SIMATIC Manager, a true project manager who not only allows us to create programs but also interconnect equipment, manage HMI panels, SCADA systems, variable speed, field instruments, and all types of equipment used in industry. All this is due to the Siemens TIA concept (Totally Integrated Automation).

Communicating with PROFINET

EVOLUTION OF A PROFIBUS PROFINET

Within the SIMATIC automation systems have existed various field buses. They have evolved over time into new technologies. For example, buses SINEC L1, L2 or SINEC SINEC H1.

Learner MANZANARES INTERNSHIP
Manzanares Educational Institution, which is integrated with secondary education, has reached Automation Center to do their internship three days in Hardware Maintenance and Electronic Maintenance for Domestic and Small Equipment Industry, and 12.13 days 14 May.
In coming days, other educational institutions will be visiting us for this event.
The trainees undertake practical in environments where they demonstrate skills acquired during the training process they have developed since the previous year, the head of this event is the Ing Nestor Mario Murillo Alzate and support with the Sp Augusto García Tamayo, taking into account the group mail and Maintenance 600 189 Industrial Instrumentation has sponsored apprentices Manzanares electronics.

REPEAT THE CENTER OF AUTOMATION


AS A WINNER IN THE CREATON
On 29 and 30 April was held the second version of Creaton organized by Technopark Node Manizales. This year has had the participation of several schools to form groups with trainees of the Seine and to demonstrate their creativity by using electronic scrap.
learners Automation Design and Integration of Mechatronic, 600 202, participated Automation Center, created groups with college students and guests took first, second, third.
The group of winners, led by Felipe Martinez Danielstudent center, created a candy vending machine by using parts from an old VCR.
We congratulate the trainees for their talent, commitment and creativity.

Kempo Karate

Kempo Karate, which is also known as Kenpo, is among the most popular forms of karate, developed in the West. The word means kempo law of the fist, as well as this form of martial art has long been regarded as a combination art for the fact that it involves the use of hard fist (karate-do), soft fist (Ju Jitsu) and weapons ( Kobudo). At the most basic, teaches Kempo Karate sparring and sparring drills for a specific purpose to help students learn and understand the basic movements and the application of the kicking and punching combinations. This is actually where the Kempo Karate sparring techniques come in. Well, the sparring techniques are classified according to the intent of the program. As Ive mentioned before, is a combination art. It is often used primarily for self defense, self-control and protection against weapons. However, unlike other forms of martial arts, Kempo Karate style differs from the traditional Karate in several important respects. With this fact, the students who want to learn sparring techniques strongly encouraged to change and the ancient and modern techniques to adapt sparring. There are two major techniques involved in Kempo Karate sparring for self defense. The first is called Tuite or take the hand techniques, and the other is it essential? Le point attacks or Kyusho.

Both sparring techniques are highly regarded as they help students develop their skills by letting them practice using a variety of threatening situations. The basic self-defense techniques involve defenses against grabs, pushes, punches, holds, kicks, and weapon defenses. The vital points Kempo Karate sparring techniques as basically regarded as the most striking and sophisticated techniques in the martial arts. They well be used against selected anatomical points of the nervous system and circulatory system. This is actually where the advanced techniques and combinations, such as the front thrust kick, spinning heel kick, shoulder, throw off balance, roundhouse kick, Crescent kick triple jump, etc. Finally, Kempo Karate sparring teaches students how to use weapons. To my knowledge, this is strongly considered in any Kempo training to students to increase understanding of self-defense. So it is common for the defense techniques against knives and clubs are taught from the yellow band. The so-called empty hand sparring techniques such as Bassai, Tomari seisan, sai, kama, nunchaku, and others are herein? Introduced. PRIMARY GROUP AUTOMATION CENTER

Diesel Engines Neglected Treasures


There are very few engine configurations that promise increased fuel economy and power.  There are few engines that offer this in addition to reliability. Today, those across the ocean are enjoying the
fruits of diesel technology revolution. Diesels have experienced a great history here in the United States.  I 1980, General Motors modified their 350ci gas V8 to run on diesel fuel.  The result however, wasn’t that god.  These engines offered better fuel economy but little else.  They werr very slow, and not very reliable.
Mercedes Benz on the other hand, had better luck in the 1980s with an array of vehicles available
with diesel engines.  These great vehicles offered
amazing durability although they were rough, noisy,

These newer engines benefit from hundreds of
technical innovations.  There are several diesels
in Europe that offer better acceleration than
their gasoline counter parts.  BMW’s 120d has
163bhp, goes 0 – 60 in under 8 seconds, and
achieves 49.6 miles per gallon.
Benz offers the C320 CDI SE that has 224bhp, and
over 360 lb foot of torque.  This car gets just
under 48 mpg on the highway, with an acceleration
of 0 – 60 in under 7 seconds.  Throughout North
America, you won’t find a gasoline engine that
offers this unique blend of fuel economy and
excellent performance.
The reason why diesels haven’t caught on in
North America comes down to one word – sulfur.  We
have too much sulfur in the diesel here in the
United States.  This cheap grade of diesel fuel
will run havoc on the more sophisticated diesels
offered overseas and cause an increase in
emissions.
There is hope however, as refiners will soon be
producing what is known as ultra low sulfur
diesel fuel.  This will help to reduce the sulfur
content from 500ppm to 15ppm.

Entering the world of automation


The purpose of this blog is to share my experience in the vast world of industrial automation. In particular we discuss issues related to the products of the German firm Siemens , a world leader in this area of technology.

It is always good to know how were the origins and evolution of the technique before going into the details of programming and systems design. This allows a better understanding of why the existence of graphical programming languages such as Ladder (Logic contacts) or typical questions such as who started as: Would not it be easier and cheaper to build a dedicated circuit to solve this application?
